Abstrakt diplomovej práce:

The thesis deals with the topic of teaching English to blind students. I concentrate mainly on the materials and equipment which can be used, on the specific aspects of teaching blind students and on comparison of education at regular schools integrating blind students and education at special schools. The aim of the theoretical part is to find out what equipment, materials and teaching procedures can be applied when teaching English to blind students. In the practical part the reality (in integration and at special schools) is portrayed, showing some disproportion between the possibilities and the reality as well as some differences between these two types of education.
